Changed your mind? We get it.
No legal fog. Here’s when you’re entitled to a refund, how to cancel, and what to do if you were billed in error.
This Refund Policy applies to subscriptions to Instacook purchased through our website at instacook.app, operated by CALBUDDY TECHNOLOGIES LTD (“Instacook,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Purchases on our website are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd (“Paddle”), which acts as the merchant of record, so refunds for website purchases are handled together with Paddle under the terms below.
Your statutory right to withdraw
If you are a consumer, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from your purchase and receive a full refund within 14 days of the transaction date, in line with applicable consumer-protection law. To exercise this right, contact us at support@instacook.app or submit a request through Paddle within that period.
Refunds outside the withdrawal period
Outside the statutory withdrawal period, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you believe you are entitled to a refund or have been billed in error, contact us at support@instacook.app and we will review your request in good faith. We consider factors such as the reason for the request, how much of the subscription period has been used, and applicable law.
When refunds are not provided
We may decline a refund where there is evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or other manipulative behavior, or where a refund is not required by applicable law and the service has been substantially used.
Cancellations
You can cancel your subscription at any time. For subscriptions purchased through our website, use the management link in your purchase confirmation email or contact us at support@instacook.app. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of your current paid period, after which the subscription will not renew. Cancelling stops future renewals but is not by itself a refund of the current period.
Purchases made through the Apple App Store
If you purchased your subscription through the Apple App Store rather than our website, refunds and cancellations are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies. You will need to request those refunds through Apple, and you can manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple account settings.
How refunds are issued
Where a refund is approved, it is processed using the original payment method where possible, and within the timeframe required by applicable law (typically within 14 days of approval).
